Peel and halve the onion and the ginger and put into a blender. Add the lemongrass, the spices and the sugar. Pour on the coconut milk, season with Fish- and Soy Sauce and blend.

Cut the chicken breasts into slices (4-5 slices per breast), put the slices into a bowl and cover the with the marinade. Let them chill for approx. 1 hour in the fridge.

Put the marinated chicken breasts on skewers (soaked in water, also for one hour) and prepare your grill for high heat.

Grill the Satay Skewers for 3-4 minutes from each side and serve them with peanut sauce and lime.

Fresh Ginger (approx. 3 cm)
Lemongrass (1 stalk)
2 tbs. Soy Sauce
1tbs. Fish Sauce
100ml Coconut milk
1 tbs. Cumin
1 tbs. Turmeric
½ tbs. Fennel Seeds
½ tbs. Cilantro Seeds
2 tbs. Brown Sugar
