COOK WITH ME.AT – Home of the Bacon Sushi

A love story

December 2014 was a very bussy time at my job (yes COOK WITH ME.AT is a hobby), but still I wanted to make a weekly video. Due to the lack of time I decided to make Moink balls, which is basically a me.at ball with cheese in the middle and wrapped with bacon, because the recipe is easy and quick to make and I had all the ingredients at home.

By searching the tooth picks, I have found my Sushi mat in a drawer. I still don´t know why, but in this moment I decided to roll the Moinks like Makis instead of forming little meatballs. Out of necessity, my greatest hit accrued.

The next day in the office I told my colleague about the recipe and he replied:” This will be a game changer”. My answer was: ”Would be great but, nope”.

And what happened? Absolutely nothing until the. 11th of February 2015 - within 24 h the video had over 1 million views.

Unbelievable and I still don´t get it what happened and that it happened to me.

So if any of my recipe deserves the right to be mentioned, then it is BACON SUSHI for several reasons. First and foremost, it was definitely the breakthrough of COOK WITH ME.AT and since then, so many great things have happened.
